Feather River Land Trust | How You Can Help


	Through a Charitable Remainder Trust, you can donate assets such as securities or real estate to the Feather River Land Trust and receive income for a term of years. Contact us for more details.

Because we are a small, non-profit organization, we welcome your involvement at any level. There are numerous ways you can help us achieve our mission, including:

1. Becoming a member.
Join the hundreds of other members who want to protect the places that make the Feather River region special. Memberships are tax deductible, to the extent permitted by IRS regulations.

2. Giving FRLT memberships as gifts.
Give a FRLT membership as a birthday, anniversary or even wedding gift.

3. Volunteering for one of our workdays.
Help build fences, clean up a protected property, restore wetlands, or assist in our annual Round Valley Run - all while making new friends and helping us expand our vision.

4. Calling us about your land.
If you are interested in working with us to protect your land, give us a call.

5. Including the Feather River Land Trust in your will or estate plan.
There are many ways to remember us in your estate plan, and you may be surprised to discover how inexpensive most of these are. For example, you can amend an existing insurance policy to add the Trust as an additional beneficiary. Or, you can instruct your lawyer to prepare a simple, inexpensive codicil to your existing will, creating a bequest for the Trust. If you're interested in learning more, please contact us.
