Preserve Clean-up Day
Saturday, May 4
Starting at 8am
Help us get ready for the Grand Opening of the Sierra Valley Preserve’s Nature Center this summer. The Preserve and A-23 need a little TLC, and the spring weather is the perfect time to get out and steward the lands we love. Join us on May 4 for a Preserve and Road Clean-up Day!

About the Sierra Valley Preserve Nature Center
What is this project for? In December, volunteers harvested and wove the first part of 27 total willow panels that will be used for shade structures at the new Sierra Valley Preserve Nature Center. We’ll be completing the rest of the panels in preparation for the Nature Center’s grand opening in Summer 2024. You can read all about the planning and history behind the project here, or check out our Nature Center Progress Updates to see all the construction milestones so far.
