Feather River Land Trust is a community-based, nonprofit organization formed by the people who love and care for the lands and waters of the Feather River region.

Our core support (operations, staff, and programs) are paid for by people like you, and family foundations--not the federal government.

Together we protect our shared values:

  • open space
  • clean water
  • wildlife habitat
  • access to land and outdoor education
  • cultural heritage.

And because of YOU, our donors, supporters and volunteers--FRLT continues to be a progressive, effective, and stable Land Trust serving the Feather River Region.  Learn more about how you can give.

Close to 25% of our annual programs, staffing, core support, and conservation activities are paid for by individual donors.

In the last fiscal year donors contributed $240,750* directly to our work (see the chart below). *Please note that these numbers are for unrestricted gifts and do not include donations for land transactions--like your generous contributions to buy the Olsen Barn Meadow!

From Learning Landscapes to the nitty-gritty of land transactions, your gifts get the work done.

Please consider donating today.

If you have questions about how your tax-deductible, charitable gift will be spent, we would love to talk to you! Contact Karen Kleven, Development Director at 530-283-5758 or kkleven@frlt.org. No gift is too large or too small and we gladly accept stock donations.

Your dollars go far and directly to what you care about—ensuring this landscape is healthy and resilient for current and future generations.
