University of Northern Reno that he lived in Plumas County full-time.
Tom enjoys fly-fishing and exploring the region's back roads. He is currently serving his second term on the board.
Ken Casaday

Carl Chavez
Graeagle Chair, Land Stewardship Committee
Carl Chavez is a graduate of Humboldt State College. He retired in 1998 as Northern Division Chief for all State Parks in Northern California after a 33-year career with the California Department of Parks and Recreation. In 1985 he was named the Department’s first “Superintendent of the Year.” Carl is the author of A Pathway Through Parks: A Park Ranger’s Reminiscing. He and his wife, Margaret, reside in Graeagle, near Plumas-Eureka State Park – a park he once managed.
Pat Fites
Graeagle Chair, Board Development Committee
Pat Fites joined the FRLT Board of Directors in November, 2008. She is a longtime resident of Plumas County with concerns for the conservation and preservation of the area's natural resources. As a long-time supporter of FRLT, it was a natural decision to become a board member. Pat liked the thought of being part of a team that was working to protect the lands and resources of the area that she loves. Pat is a longtime docent at Plumas Eureka State Park and a member of the Johnsville Historical Society. She was a charter member of the Plumas County Arts Commission (now Plumas Arts), and she served as Treasurer of the Eastern Plumas District Hospital Auxiliary for several years. Pat enjoys hiking and bird watching in our beautiful mountains.
Adrienne Stenson
Quincy Chair, Connecting to Land Committee
Adrienne Stenson and her late husband Steve, moved to Portola in 1979 when they created Longfellow Building Supply. She recently retired from teaching after a 40 year career in elementary education, and is excited to bring her expertise and community relationships to FRLT’s education efforts. A former skier and hiker, Adrienne now enjoys walking in the Feather River country and loves being with her grandchildren, reading, photography, and retirement with her husband Scott Davis.
Clare Churchill
Quincy Chair, Fund Development Committee
Clare is a long-time resident of Quincy, having first visited Plumas County as a child camping with her family at Bucks Lake. She is a graduate of Feather River College and CSU Chico and is in her twenty-third year with Plumas Bank, where she is Vice President and Risk Management Officer. For balance, Clare enjoys teaching yoga, gardening, and spending time with her family. Clare and husband Denny have been long time supporters of the FRLT, and becoming a board member is a natural fit for Clare.
Thomas Tisch

Tom has been visiting the Feather River region since he was a youngster, when he skied Mount Lassen in the 1950s. He grew up in the Chico area and enjoys his home at Lake Almanor. Tom is a consulting investor for high tech companies, and has many years experience as a board member helping businesses and nonprofits fulfill their missions. Tom has served on FRLT’s Fund Development Committee since 2009 and is excited to bring his expertise and support to the board.
