Our Board of Directors consists of people who live, work, and in some cases, were born, in the Feather River Watershed.

Betsy Kraemer, President
Genesee Valley
Chair, Land Stewardship Committee
Feather River Land Trust

Betsy is President and, until retirement last year co-owner of Walt Kraemer Creative Services a radio, TV and film production company. She is the Treasurer of the Red Clover Creek Recreation Association and was an archivist for the Sausalito Historical Society before moving to Genesee. Betsy is currently managing the Heart K Ranch for the Land Trust. She and her Bernese Mountain dog, Cordelia, daily enjoy all the activities available in the Genesee Valley.

Tom Wood, Vice President
Quincy
Chair, Land Protection Committee

Tom is a Clinical Laboratory Technologist at Plumas District Hospital. Although born in Plumas County, it wasn't until he graduated from the University of Northern Reno that he lived in Plumas County full-time. Tom enjoys fly-fishing and exploring the region's back roads. He is currently serving his second term on the board.

Bob Cobb, Secretary/ Treasurer
Quincy
Chair, Finance Committee

Bob is retired and a founding member of the Feather River Land Trust. A former board member of the Conference and Retreat Center of the Episcopal Diocese of California, he is also active with the High Sierra Animal Rescue. He has been a full-time Quincy resident since 1998. Bob enjoys hiking, gardening, cooking, and spending time with his family, including his dog Toby.

Bob Battagin
Oakland

Bob is a semi-retired property manager and founding member of the Feather River Land Trust. Although residing in Oakland, CA he frequents Plumas County visiting family and friends, camping, and exploring its myriad of natural habitats. An avid birdwatcher and botanist, he rarely misses a chance to roam the near and far corners of Plumas County in search of flora, fauna, and mountain magic.

Trina Cunningham
Indian Valley

Trina is a native of Plumas County. She is a member of the Maidu Summit Group, pursuing Maidu ecological education and cultural perpetuity. Trina enjoys the many aspects of working and living in Plumas County.

Beth Reid
Quincy
Chair, Board Developement Committee

Beth Reid, an English and P.E. instructor at Feather River College, owns and lives on a historic ranch in Quincy. In addition to their ranch, she and her husband, Russell, co-own two horse stables in Plumas County. Though surrounded by horses and cattle, Beth enjoys spending her free time hiking, swimming and gardening.

Ceci Reynolds
Quincy
Chair, Fundraising Committee


Ceci joined the Feather River Land Trust Board in 2006 with a particular interest in fundraising. She has a background in business and working in fundraising for educational institutions and community groups. Like most of the residents who have moved here from elsewhere as well as those who were born here, she believes that it is important to conserve and maintain our open land and beautiful vistas. It gives us all a sense of quality in our daily experience. Ceci loves to be outdoors in the spectacular Feather River watershed – hiking, golfing, cycling, kayaking and back country skiing are some of the ways she enjoys the area. She loves to cook and entertain friends at her home. Ceci is forever grateful for the involved communities that make up the Feather River Region. She encourages each and every one of you to check out the good work FRLT is doing in your area and consider becoming a member of this fine organization.

Robert Wade
Meadow Valley
Chair, Education Committee

Rob is a K-14 educator specializing in place-based learning in the Feather River Watershed. He is Director of the Feather River Outdoor School, Coordinator of the Plumas County School's Outdoor Education Program and a founding member of the Feather River Land Trust. Rob takes pride in his Feather River roots and can often be seen rock climbing, rafting or skiing the backcountry with his friends.

Michael Yost
Taylorsville

Mike is a retired Feather River College Forest Ecology Instructor. He is a founding member of the Feather River Land Trust and the Quincy Library Group, and has been a member of the Indian Valley Volunteer Fire Department for 25 years. Mike is also an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys traveling, as well as fishing, hiking and canoeing.
