Eva Rocke, Administrative and Program Assistant
Quincy
Originally from the east coast, Eva moved to Quincy back in June 2007 to work at the Dawn Gardens in Indian Falls for the growing season. The scenic and diverse landscape of the Sierra Nevada convinced her to stay and so she got a part-time job at the local co-op, Quincy Natural Foods, that she still maintains when she's not at the land trust. Eva graduated in 2006 from the University of the South in Sewanee, TN with a bachelor's degree in anthropology and environmental studies. Before moving out west, Eva traveled to Brazil and Costa Rica and lived in Washington, D.C. while working for other environmental non-profits. Besides the outdoors, Eva's favorite things include food, traveling, and thinking about sustainable food system possibilities. Her goal while here in Plumas County is to experience as many of the local natural wonders as possible and still make a living.

Quincy
Allison was born and raised in Minnesota. In December 2007, she graduated from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a major in Environmental Education and Interpretation. Yearning for a change in scenery, she applied for the Sierra Nevada AmeriCorps Partnership. With a position in environmental education and land conservation (two areas Allison hopes to find a career in), she found a perfect fit in FRLT. In the past couple years Allison has worked as a camp counselor at Crex Meadows Youth Conservation Camp and was hired to design a bird checklist for the Buena Vista Marsh. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, doing anything that will get her outside, playing rugby, cooking and traveling.
