Plein air painting

Come meet and see an artist at work. Sacramento-based fine artist Kim Scott will be painting at our table during the event. She'll be showcasing Sierra Valley art including a new piece, Spirit of the Watershed, donated to support FRLT's campaign for public access improvements and nature center in Sierra Valley.

Plumas Audubon's Liz Ramsey

Bird conservation & wildlife photography

Jill Slocom and Liz Ramsey of Plumas Audubon Society will also join us at the Preserve and share about their work to educate and advocate for birds and bird habitat in the Feather River region. Liz, an avid wildlife photographer, will also showcase her photography, an example here of Clark's and Western grebes.

I am in constant awe of the unique and gripping majesty that is the Feather River region. FRLT's mission to care for and protect the special lands of the watershed in perpetuity is why I became a Land Trust member.
