The presentation by Karen Kleven will include a welcome by Carl Chavez, our Board president, and two short videos that help explain the why's and how's of our work. The first one is a newly released video about the significance of the Feather River Watershed (FRW). Did you know that its larger than Yellowstone National Park and provides water to 65% of Californians and much more?
The next video will be about our work to protect historical structures, like the 150 year old Olsen Barn in Chester and the old farmhouse in Sierra Valley.
We'll also highlight our Learning Landscape program which provides outdoor education for all students living in the watershed and our 2020 Vision which explores our vision for the future and how it can impact you.
