Karen Kleven
Karen served as the Development Director of the Feather River Land Trust for ten years and after retirement in 2019 assumed the part-time position of Legacy Giving Coordinator. Karen took on this role as she recognized that legacy giving is a powerful way for people to make an impact, yet many people don’t realize it is something they can easily do. She’s hosting this seminar for FRLT and other local organizations because we’re all working to better our community and by coming together, we can help more people learn about Legacy Giving, IRA donations, and other ways to be part of this good work, now and in the future.
Karen is part of the FRLT Land Legacy Circle as she has included the Land Trust in her trust. For over 40 years, she has been passionate about promoting a vibrant Plumas County community through volunteer activities.
